This webinar is designed for municipal staff in communities located at the wildland-urban interface (WUI), as well as any community across Canada where wildfire is an emerging or growing concern.
What is the wildland-urban interface?
The wildland-urban interface, or WUI, refers to areas where urban development meets or intermingles with the natural environment. Communities in these areas can face increased wildfire risk, particularly where homes, infrastructure and other developed areas are close to forests or other wildfire-prone landscapes.
