September 11, 2025 | Virtual | Leading Living Cities Training Prg Cohort Session 3 | 8-10 municipalities and Indigenous communities as well as 6-7 ENGOs from different regions across Canada will be guided through a structured process to evaluate existing local green infrastructure policies and programs and to set strategic short, medium, and long-term goals towards becoming a “Living City.” The key outcome will be developing a customized green infrastructure policy pathway for their community. September 25, 2025 | Virtual | Low-Impact Development Climate Resilience Program | Adaptation to climate change requires the adoption of resilient, engineered green infrastructure to manage stormwater from a quantitative and qualitative perspective. This is of increasing importance for planners, designers, engineers, landscape architects, and construction professionals to ensure that the infrastructure designed today is adaptive to a changing climate. This immersive, conference-style training teaches the emerging approaches to the design, construction, operation and maintenance of engineered green infrastructure. In addition, the course focuses on design assessment, lifecycle costing, comparison to traditional stormwater infrastructure, inspection practices, and performance verification. Program includes 8 courses (choose up to 3 electives) starting September 25th until February 27th. Each course is 7.5 hours, conveniently divided into 4 hour sessions over 2 days.
